Find out how to start your own alpaca ranch. This is the last opportunity to see the alpacas and mini-llamas in full fleece before shearing!

Annual Shearing Day Able Oaks Ranch Rusk, TX

This is the day when we harvest the wonderful fleeces that the alpacas and llamas grew out the previous year. We use a team of professional shearers to clip the animals. Alpaca and llama owners are welcome to bring their animals for shearing, but please contact me in advance to confirm number of animals and cost. Owners bringing animals for shearing are expected help out.
Textile artists, come pick out your favorite fiber blankets for purchase.
